NHS Greenwich Clinical Commissioning Group appoints Andrew Bland as Interim Chief Officer
Dr Ellen Wright, local GP and Clinical Chair of NHS Greenwich CCG today (11 September) announced the appointment of Andrew Bland as Interim Chief Officer of NHS Greenwich CCG.
Firstly, I want to say a huge thank you to Jo Murfitt for her hard work and continued support, I wish her all the best, said Dr Ellen Wright.
"I am delighted to inform you that we have now appointed Andrew Bland as our new Interim Chief Officer. Andrew comes with a wealth of NHS experience and comes to Greenwich with this extensive experience to support the CCG tackle its current challenges. He has worked in the NHS for 15 years, and his knowledge will be an asset to the population of Greenwich.
"Andrew is the CCG lead for primary care in both London and south east London and has been instrumental in helping Greenwich secure additional GP 5 Year Forward View funding.
"I am confident Andrew is the right person to lead Greenwich through recovery and into the future. I am sure you would want to join me in welcoming Andrew to Greenwich."
